That some crazy mixed up collection of music, I know.
Deciding to play what music at night is a tricky thing. Play the wrong track and you’ll spend all night thinking about something, play the right one and you’ll be in peace for the whole night.
I’m serious, man. I tried it a few times; there’s one night
I play all the mellow Gary Moore kind of music. You know the type of blues
music you listen to on a really dry and blunt evening. Didn’t work out; I felt
uncomfortable and uneasy all night. Maybe because in my head there’s this
visual image of an extremely draggy sunset and I don’t really like that. But if I'm listening to that kind of blues music in a rainy afternoon, I'll feel damn good. I
guess our mind is really some piece of work. How it connects something that is
felt externally to our thoughts mentally and in return we react in accordance
to it is really interesting.
All I’m saying is that the way we relate thoughts, feelings and experiences with music can get pretty interesting at times. Think about it. Or rather… the next time you listen to a particular music; feel it. You’ll be surprised by what kind of relations and pictures coming out in your head. Music does heal people but for how long you will remained healed is still dependent on a bigger force but that’s a different thing.
With that being said, I wish I could help people feel good through listening to music. Just talk to me for a bit, I’ll find out more about you, what kind of music you like, etc and I’ll give you a mix of music. Listen to it during the right time while doing the right thing and I’m sure you’ll feel good.
So who wants to be my first patient? ;p
